ROH News: Final Battle date and location revealed (updated)

Ring of Honor has announced that the Final Battle event will take place on December 16 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

Powell's POV: The show has a 2:00 p.m. ET start time and will run head-to-head with NFL games. In fact, the New York Giants have a 1:00 p.m. ET game that day, albeit a road game against the Falcons. The New York Jets play the following night. There's a full slate of NFL games that day, so it will be interesting to see whether that has any affect on the attendance or the number of iPPV buys.

Update: Dot Net reader Luis points out that the WWE TLC pay-per-view is scheduled for the same night. In other words, ROH had the choice of going head-to-head with the NFL or a WWE pay-per-view. The way they structured the show, fans who attend the ROH event should be able to make it to TLC in Brooklyn.
