Former TNA X-Division and Tag Team Champion Christopher Daniels talks Slammiversary, his role in TNA and whether he is happy with it, and the fear of dying in the ring
Jun 17, 2009 - 08:00 PM |
Christopher Daniels did an interview with the San Francisco based Pro Wrestling Examiner this week and addressed many topics, including his history with his Slammiversary opponent Shane Douglas.
"I think Shane is a great competitor, a great athlete and a great wrestler. He’s got an incredible wrestling mind. This will be one of the few times in my career that I will be going into a match having less experience than the person I’m wrestling. It’s a big deal to me, not only because it’s Shane but also because Slammiversary is one of our big PPVs, and I try to continue the trend of excellence that I have for TNA."
Daniels also talked about whether or not he thought TNA would ever close down, his many title reigns, carrying championship belts through airports, and the fear of dying in the ring in the wake of Mitsuhara Misawa's tragic death. It is a very good and highly recommended read. Click here to check it out.
Twill's Two Cents: Very good interview. Daniels is one of my favorites and I have always advocated him being a top guy and someone more than worthy of being a World Champion.
