Joy Giovanni appeared on In Your Head this week on March 19, 2009 to promote her upcoming DVD "Amy vs. Joy" which will be taking place on April 10, 2009 (at http://www.AmyVsJoy.com).

Joy opened up the interview by letting the viewers know how this event came about and how when in the WWE, Amy Weber and Joy never actually got to have a match. "We had a big feud at one time when we were involved in professional wrestling," she said. "We never actually got to have a match in the ring. Quite honestly I am tired of her mouth running. It just got to the point where I said, okay lets set up a match."

A caller rang in and asked Joy if she missed working with the WWE. "I had a great time working there, everyone was great to me," she responded. "I wish I would have gotten to do more in the ring."

Jack asks Joy if Amy Weber has singled out Joy with her hatred. "She wasn’t the most friendliest girl," she said. "I know quite a few people didn’t like her. I was going out my way to be friendly and she took issue with that."

Jack asked if the WWE wanted Joy to be a full time wrestler when she was brought into the WWE. "When they originally approached me they did not want me to be a wrestler at all," she replied.

Jack asked if Joy’s pairing with The Big Show was a good pairing. "At the time he told me he never had a girlfriend on the show before, but he always wanted to," she said. "I thought it worked well because he’s always coming to rescue me."

Jack asked if Joy thought the Diva Search was legitimate. "I have no reason to think otherwise," she answered. "I can only assume it was the fans who decided what they wanted."
