Jun 21, 2008 - 09:09 PM

The Pain Clinic with Lillian Garcia
Hosts: Rich “Cashman” Jones, Danger Boy, Murph, JZ
Available on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK and at FeelThePain.net.

Lilian Garcia joins us and we immediately talk about her album and working with Grammy winning musician Jon Secada. She thought they clicked when they worked together.

Lilian talks about the path that led her to the WWE. She worked in radio and he manager told her to take a chance and she tried out for the WWE Ring Announcer. She started in August of 1999.

From being the object of Viscera's desire to having a sing-off with Jillian Hall, we go through highlights of her career and she talks about her favorite thing to do on Raw.

Lilian talks about the injury in the ring after being bumped off the apron by Charlie Haas and hurting her knee skiing and missing three months of announcing.

We ask her about the influences in her announcing style and how she developed it. Howard Finkel gave her advice and she developed it on her own. She talks about things she has to do to announce a show including memorizing all the matches. Her first time out she felt very sick.

Lilian talked about her college major and what she wanted to do after college. She started in pre-med but decided on becoming an entertainer.

Lilian takes a caller who compliments her on how nice she was when he met her which leads into talking about Lilian moving from just announcing to appearing in the Diva photo shoots and calendars.

She talks about her appearance in Syracuse this Wednesday at the Syracuse Chiefs/Pawtucket game to sign autographs and sing the national anthem.
