Second report on Kurt Angle's appearance on Howard Stern with comments on his divorce from Karen Angle, more on Vince McMahon, his interest in African American women

The following report of Kurt Angle's appearance on the Howard Stern Sirius satellite radio show was filed by Dot Net reader Jack Lambert of Chester, Va.

Kurt was on between 8:30 and 9:00. Eric the Midget, a Stern Show regular, was in the studio and I guess they brought Kurt in to meet him. The following recap is in no specific order, just trying to remember everything he said.

He plugged the Main Event Mafia. Howard asked him about his separation from Karen. Kurt responded they grew apart after he got her a job at TNA. He spoke briefly about Vince McMahon, and said Vince wouldn't let him go to rehab for addiction to pain killers resulting from breaking his neck.

Diana DeGarmo of American Idol fame was also in studio. Apparently she is going to do something with TNA but said it was "top secret." Most of the interview revolved around Eric the Midget asking Diana out on a date. Kurt was egging him on, to which Diana jokingly said, she was wrestling Kurt on TNA.

They asked about Kurt's MMA aspirations. He said his main focus was TNA. Howard thought with the injuries that that would be dangerous, to which Kurt explained MMA was less damaging on the body then pro wrestling.

The funny thing is Kurt was trying to get a date with Robin, Howard's sidekick/news woman. Howard revealed Kurt like African American women, to which he responded he did. The strangest part was when Diana turned down Eric, Kurt interjected he would "f---" him. Eric turned him down as Kurt is a man. Kurt continued to joke that he is a "great piece of ass."

Kurt also promised to make Eric an Honorary Member of the Main Event Mafia. Very brief uneventful interview as many celebrities and such where also in the studio to meet Eric.
