In his WWE Universe blog, Rob Van Dam echoed the sentiments of many past and present stars by saying the travel involved with being a full time performer is very taxing.
"In case you don't know why you don't see me on tv every week, here it is. After wrestling for many years, I got tired of never being home with my wife in California. Traveling almost every day, every week, every month, every year was eventually something I no longer wanted to do. Finishing my contract in 2007, I opted to take a necessary break, and am still on that indefinite break."
RVD also talked about his acting projects and reminded his fans of the many ways he can be contacted online.

Also, RVD will be on the In Your Head Wrestling Radio show tonight at 8:05 PM (EST). For more information on the appearance and how to call in with your questions, click here.
Twill's Two Cents: RVD has a lot of balls in the air, and most importantly, his wife's health is a constant concern. I would not hold my breath for a full time return, but it is great to see him when he makes surprise appearances.
