WWE Raw tonight, WWE ratings news, Hall of Fame replay, WrestleMania 25, classic Paul Heyman rant
By Jason Powell Apr 7, 2008 - 08:30 AM

-WWE gets back on the road today after a rare weekend with no house shows. Raw takes place tonight in Albany, N.Y. and then the crew heads to Trenton, N.J. for a house show tomorrow night. WWE has yet to announce any matches for tonight's show, so check back throughout the day for updates. As always, check back tonight for my "Live Coverage" of Raw. I'll do my best to keep up so that I can fill you in on what you missed if you're flipping between Raw and the NCAA hoops championship.

By the way, I'll finish one point out of first place in my 82-man pool if Kansas wins. Not bad for a guy who watched about 20 minutes of college ball this year. Yes, I realize this means I'm going to lose at least one fantasy football league to someone who doesn't know anything about the NFL.

-Raw ratings: Better late than never, Raw drew a 3.4 rating last week. The show drew a 3.27 in the first hour and a 3.56 in the second hour. I'm guessing tonight's rating could take a hit due to the college hoops championship game that will air on CBS.

-If you attend tonight's Raw taping, please send a report on the Heat tapings and anything else that happens when the live show isn't on the air.

-For those who may have missed it yesterday, Paul Heyman posted a hilarious rant regarding Ric Flair's retirement weekend at the UK Sun website.

-Interesting poll results over the weekend. Dot Net readers are essentially split on whether the MMA-style match that Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe are teasing for Sunday's TNA Lockdown main event is appealing. I'll have more to say about this in my blog today.

-Today's Poll: Would you vote for Jesse Ventura if he ran for president? I'll share my thoughts on the topic in tomorrow morning's Dot Net Daily.

VOTE IN OUR LATEST POLL
Is the two-hour version of TNA Impact better than the old one-hour version of the show?
It's better. There's better character development and longer matches.
It's worse. The booking and non-wrestling segments are worse than ever.
No change. It's the same show only one hour longer.
