-The WWE Smackdown/ECW taping takes place tonight in Lexington, Ky. at Rupp Arena. The show is headlined by Batista vs. Rey Mysterio in a singles match. I assume they will also be holding a series of qualifying matches to determine which wrestlers will join Chris Jericho on Team Smackdown at the Bragging Rights pay-per-view.

-In the "take it for it's worth" department, WWE Raw wrestler Jack Swagger is advertised for tonight's Smackdown/ECW taping. The card was updated on Sept. 17, according to the arena website.

-The ECW main event is Christian and Yoshi Tatsu vs. William Regal and Zack Ryder. Rich Twilling will be covering the show live at 9:00 p.m. CT.

-Dot Net reader Jae reports that because Steve Austin's movie "Damage" is available on DVD in the UK, it has also made it's way to online pirating sites in North America. I'm surprised whenever they don't do worldwide releases for any movie or TV show these days given how popular online piracy has become.

-The October 10th, 2009 edition of WWE Vintage Collection on The Score in Canada focused on Wrestling's Legendary Superheroes and featured the following matches:

* Goldberg vs. Glacier from WCW Thunder on February 12, 1998.
* Bret Hart vs. The Patriot from WWF In Your House: Ground Zero on Sept. 7, 1997.
* The Rock vs. The Hurricane from WWE Raw on March 10, 2003.
* Hulk Hogan vs. The One Man Gang from the Philadelphia Spectrum on Dec. 5, 1987.
