-TNA's "Before The Glory" special is airing tonight at 10 p.m. EST on DirecTV's Ch. 101. The show replays at 10:30, 1:00 a.m., and 1:30 a.m. As I mentioned yesterday, this is an excellent 30-minute video. The word at the Impact tapings was that the company intended to air a portion of the video during Impact either this week or next week. Great move. That said, there are several airings on DirecTV 101 scheduled between tonight and Oct. 18. You can check out the full list of times at TNAwrestling.com.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the first part of the Q&A audio session in which I answer their pro wrestling (and some non-wrestling) questions. -The Monday Night Football rating came in at 15.3, making it the highest ranked program in the history of cable television. ESPN issued a press release on Monday to announce that 21.8 million viewers watched my beloved Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers. I bring this up to (a) gloat, (b) to point out again that WWE officials should be pleased that the Raw rating actually went up compared to last week.

-The dark match at Monday's Raw was Jamie Noble defeating Heath Slater.

-In dark matches held at Tuesday's Smackdown taping, Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Slater, and Undertaker pinned C.M. Punk to retain the World Hvt. Championship in a short main event.

-Ring of Honor has announced that Austin Aries and Davey Richards will face The Briscoes at the Oct. 10 show in Indianapolis, Ind.

-WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race spoke about what it takes to be a a successful pro wrestler in the Cauliflower Alley Club seminar at SmarkSpot.wordpresscom.

-The following matches are advertised for the 10 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Gladiator and Hernandez vs. Doug Somers and Buddy Rose, Davidson vs. Nick Bockwinkel, Col. DeBeers vs. Davey Richards. The show was taped on May 21, 1986.
