-Pro Wrestling Guerilla has loaded show that features Brian Kendrick in his first advertised match since his WWE release. The first show takes place on Aug. 28 in Reseda, Calif. at the American Legion Post 308 with the following lineup: Chris Hero vs. Roderick Strong for the PWG Title, The Young Bucks vs. The Dynasty International, Bryan Danielson vs. Brian Kendrick, and Colt Cabana vs. Scott Lost.
-Hulk Hogan opted to have a laser surgery on his spine. In a short UK article, Hogan talks about the pain he has been in and describes it as "44-7." He also reveals why he elected to have this surgery and not a more traditional surgery. The date in which he had the surgery was not disclosed. Check it out for yourself by clicking here.
-Evan Rachel Wood, who played the daughter of Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler, makes her debut on HBO's "True Blood" on Aug. 30. For more details on her character, check out TVDoneWright.com.

-The following matches are listed for the 10:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Steve Bergh and Tony D vs. Tom Bennett and Pistol Pete Pistulka, Jamie Magnum vs. Larry Zbyszko, and Team Challenge Series matches. Was there anything worse than the Teach Challenge Series? There's no recording date, but these were the dying days of the promotion.
