-I'm looking for your feedback on last night's Raw. I want to know whether you will be content if that turns out to be Flair's final appearance as an in-ring performer on Raw. I'm also curious to know what you thought of the final hype for WrestleMania 24. Send your comments for a possible Mailbag article to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-Former NWA Champion Ron Killings made his return to WWE last night in a dark match held before Raw went on the air. He wrestled as K-Kwik during his previous run with the company.
-The final WWE show before WrestleMania 24 will be taped tonight in Fayetteville, N.C. This show is being held in Ric Flair Country, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll make another on-camera appearance before Sunday’s match against Shawn Michaels.
-For more coverage of Flair Day in Columbia, S.C., visit TheState.com. The story features quotes from the emotional Flair following the ceremony.
-As always, I am looking for reports from tonight’s Smackdown taping. If you can help, please send the results and/or a full report to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-WWE is releasing Triple H's "The King of Kings" DVD and “WWE: The Music, Volume 8” today.
-Today’s Poll: We’re taking a break from the WrestleMania 24 polls for one day only to select the best segment on Raw. You can choose from the list of candidates by clicking here.
-WrestleMania 24 poll results: There are still some diehard Flair fans who refuse to believe Sunday will be the end of his career as an active wrestler. Although 54 percent of the Dot Net voters predicted that Shawn Michaels will win clean on Sunday, 31 percent feel Flair will keep his career alive. 11 percent of the voters expect a double DQ, countout, or non-finish. Only five percent of the voters expect outside interference or some type of DQ or countout finish. I’m saving my predictions for later this week, but I will say that I expect there to be a legit finish to this match.
Daily Nuggets
-The Canadian Broadcasting Network has a new digital archive devoted to pro wrestling. There are 19 pieces of classic footage featuring many Canadian wrestling legends such as members of The Hart Family, ”Whipper” Billy Watson, Mad Dog Vachon, Killer Kowalski, Sailor White, and Gene Kiniski. Check it out at CBC.ca.
-Where are they now? The March 20 NWA GCW show featured appearances by former WWE wrestler Bull Buchanan, former ECW regular Johnny Swinger, and former TNA performer David Young. I was really high on Swinger during his ECW days. He had a great look and I thought his tag team with Simon Diamond was underrated. For more information on these wrestlers, visit GCWaction.com.
-I ran the wrong AWA match listings yesterday, so my apologies to anyone who sat up late hoping to see Cactus Jack on the show. Tonight’s ESPN Classic lineup features squash matches with Co. DeBeers, Greg Gagne and Jerry Blackwell, and Sherri Martel vs. Princess Jasmine, according to the ESPN website.
