-For those of you who were away from your computers over the holiday weekend, Edge suffered what was originally diagnosed as a torn Achilles tendon during a match in San Diego on Friday. His match with Jeff Hardy was stopped abruptly and he required help to get backstage
There's no word yet on how long he'll be out of action or how WWE intends to explain his injury on television. Keep in mind that Edge is one-half of the Unified Tag Champions with Chris Jericho, so it will be interesting to see how they go about taking the titles away from the duo.
-Tonight's pre-taped WWE Raw is headlined by the Triple H vs. John Cena match with the winner challenging Randy Orton at the Night of Champions pay-per-view. The show was taped after last week's live Raw in San Jose. Check the main page shortly for a full list matches or the full spoilers for tonight's show. I'll be covering the show tonight as if it were live, so you are encouraged to watch along with me.

Apparently, Jesse has been playing a gangsta rap character and this isn't the first time he's used the character. The anonymous reader reports: "Back when Deep South was still a developmental territory, he was doing the gimmick as part of a tag team known as Ebony & Ivory (his partner was Damien Steele, who played a socialite character).
