-WWE Superstars is headlined by a Triple Threat match with Kofi Kingston defending the U.S. Title against Matt Hardy and MVP. There are reports that Hardy suffered a torn abdominal muscle during the match and will require surgery. Hardy appeared to dispute the reports on his Twitter page on Tuesday. Dot Net contributer Chris Shore will be covering the show live tonight.
-It should be an interesting edition of TNA Impact tonight as they attempt to make sense of Samoa Joe's heel turn. The show will also feature Kevin Nash vs. Abyss, and a 10,000 thumbtacks match with Daffney vs. Taylor Wilde. Dot Net correspondent Talon Robinson will be covering the show live tonight. It will be Talon's last report for at least a month, as he has a scheduling issue. Thanks to Talon for all his hard work and I hope he's able to pick up where he left off somewhere down the road.
-The 52-minute first part of the two-part audio with Konnan is available exclusively to Dot Net Members. He covers a lot of ground including whether Teddy Hart would be a good fit in WWE, Eddie Guerrero, Vickie Guerrero, competing with WWE in Mexico, the recent arrest of Judas Mesias, and more. The second part of the interview will be posted early next week. You can gain access to this audio update, Monday's WWE Raw recap with Sean "X-Pac" Waltman and PWTorch.com's Wade Keller, and all the perks of membership for only $5 per month by visiting the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.
-Wolfie D is now available for indy bookings through Bill Behrens at showbis@aol.com. In related news, Behrens has launched the SBIBookings.com.
-WWE is returning to Puerto Rico with the following advertised shows: Sept. 3 at Tomas Dones Coliseum in Fajardo; Sept. 4 at Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Hato Rey; Sept. 5 at Manuel Iguina Coliseum in Arecibo; and Sept. 6 at Juan Pachin Vicens Auditorium in Ponce. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk for multiple items in this report.]
-Tugboat (a/k/a Typhoon, The Shockmaster) has been added to the Sept. 5 DWA event in Uelzen, Germany. For more information, visit DWA-wrestling.de.
-The AWA returns to ESPN Classic after a brief hiatus today at 2:00 p.m. CT with the following matches: Larry Zbyszko vs. Cooper, Brad Rheingans vs. Tabb, Midnight Rockers vs. Sweat and Crenshaw, and Bruiser Brody and The Barbarian vs. Jimmy Snuka and Greg Gagne in a steel cage match. The show was taped on Sept. 18, 1986.
