Mr. Kennedy notes, a title match announced for tonight's WWE Raw (correspondents needed), MVP went to prom on Saturday, Raven movie review, Petey Williams, AWA on ESPN Classic show

-Several readers have pointed out that Mr. Kennedy (a/k/a Ken Anderson) has been featured in the advertising for tonight's WWE Raw show. Obviously, those commercials were produced before he was released by WWE on Friday. The assumption of everyone I've spoken with is that he will end up in TNA once his 90-day noncompete with WWE expires.

-In other Kennedy/Anderson news, he has launched a new Twitter account, which you can access by clicking here.

-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Birmingham, Ala. It's being promoted as the first WWE event in the city in two years. The only advertised match is MVP vs. Kofi Kingston for the U.S. Title.

This is the final show heading into Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view. The company has plenty of work to do when it comes to delivering a final push for the show after last week's heavily criticized broadcast. We are looking for correspondents to cover the WWE Superstars tapings and dark matches. If you are going to the show and can help with a report, please contact me asap at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-MVP took "The View" cohost Sherri Shepherd to prom. No, really. The WWE website notes that he took her to the Hoffman Estates High School prom on Saturday night. The story notes that both missed their high school proms during their senior year at high school. I'm sure this will be a big topic of conversation on "The View" later today.

-Dot Net reader Terry Lund picked up the movie Sleepers, which features Raven, and passed along the following review. "I was at Cub foods (on Saturday). I was searching movies at the Red Box movie rentals. I came across the movie Sleepers. The actors and I mean that loosely were on the front and said Raven of the WWE. I sat there debating on getting it no yes no ah I guess I will get it for a $1.00 I will not get that two hours back and the $1.00 for a HORRIBLE movie. I know this was going to be bad but not that bad. I was planning on going to Canterbury Park (race track) but that fell through and I was sitting down on a Friday watching a movie with Raven in it. I just wanted to pass my horrible choice of movies!"

-Petey Williams is scheduled to appear at the Gladiators Aztecas show in Addison, Ill. on June 7. For more information on the show, check out Galli.ws. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]

-The following matches are listed for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show at 10 p.m. CT: Badd Company vs. Nature's Best, Rock-n-Roll Express vs. Hangman and Terry Adonis, Michael Hayes vs. Iceman Parsons, Garvin vs. Steve Cox, Soldat Ustinov and Teijo Khan vs. Sgt. Slaughter and Keith Erich, Wahoo McDaniel vs. Manny Fernandez. The show was taped on Oct. 22, 1988.
