Vince McMahon feature on ESPN tonight, WWE Smackdown and ECW tapings (correspondents needed), Raw dark matches, WWE Superstars note, Jeff Jarrett DVD, AWA on ESPN Classic match listing with Mick Foley
Apr 14, 2009 - 09:08 AM

-The Vince McMahon feature airs tonight on the E:60 show on ESPN at 6:00 p.m. CT. The camera crew was given access inside a WWE production meeting, and interviewed current wrestlers and past wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and Roddy Piper. I'll be covering the show live tonight and including my commentary live as it airs on ESPN, so you are welcome to watch along with me.

-The WWE Smackdown and ECW tapings take place tonight in Knoxville, Tenn. I am looking for correspondents who can send results as they happen or a post-show report on the tapings. If you can help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members are currently listening to the 88-minute WWE Draft and Raw audio recap that Rich Twilling and I posted earlier this morning. You can gain access to this audio update and all the perks of membership for only $5 per month by visiting the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-Media Life covered the rebranding of WGN America and included a mention of the WWE Superstars show that debuts on Thursday night. "WGN can expect to see that audience pick up dramatically with the arrival this week of WWE wrestling, which has a long history of bringing a huge surge in viewers to whatever network it airs on," reads the story. "WWE on USA is consistently the most-watched program on cable TV." To read the full article, visit MediaLifeMagazine.com.

-I mistakenly listed last Tuesday as the release date for the Jeff Jarrett four-disc DVD. However, the DVD set actually comes out today and is available at all major retail stores including Best Buy.

-Former ECW Champion Justin Credible can be booked for wrestling shows, autograph signings, and conventions via bookjustincredible@yahoo.com.

-The following matches are listed for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Cactus Jack and Gary Young vs. Billy Travis and Rick Steiner, Mike Enos vs. Ali Khan, Jerry Lawler vs. Kerry Von Erich, Ron Garvin vs. Reynolds, Rock-n-Roll Express vs. Kerry Von Erich and Hangman, Soldat Ustinov vs. Sgt. Slaughter. The show was taped in 1988.
