WWE Smackdown taping in Connecticut (correspondents needed), Smackdown taping dark main event, Blackjack Mulligan, former WWE Diva Ivory, Maven Huffman, Brian Lee, Global on ESPN Classic
Nov 26, 2013 - 09:00 AM

By Jason Powell

-The WWE Smackdown taping will be held tonight in Uncasville, Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena. The following wrestlers are advertised for tonight's taping: Randy Orton, C.M. Punk, Triple H, Daniel Bryan, The Wyatt Family, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, and The Shield.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping in Atlanta and the upcoming TNA Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Orlando, Florida. If you are going to any of these shows and want to help, contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members are listening to the 55-minute audio review of WWE Raw that I recorded on Monday night, and the 107-minute WWE Survivor Series that Chris Shore, Zack Zimmerman, and I recorded on Sunday night. If you enjoy our All Access audio, help support Dot Net by signing up for membership to the ad-free version of the website via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-The dark main event advertised for tonight's Smackdown taping is Randy Orton vs. Big Show for the WWE Championship.

-WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan (a/k/a Robert Windham) is 71 today. He was born on November 26, 1942. Mulligan is the father of pro wrestlers Barry Windham and Kendall Windham, and the grandfather of WWE performers Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas. Mulligan and longtime tag partner Blackjack Lanza were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Bobby Heenan in 2001.

-Former WWE Diva Ivory (a/k/a Lisa Moretti) is 52 today. She was born on November 26, 1961. She got her start with the GLOW promotion as Tina Ferrari back in 1986, and worked for WWE from 1999 to 2005. She has worked select indy dates since leaving WWE, but I believe it's been a couple of years since she worked.

-WWE Tough Enough season one co-winner Maven Huffman is 37 today. He was born on November 26, 1976. Huffman worked for WWE from 2001 to 2005. He worked as a host for HSN and also appeared on reality television shows after leaving WWE. He entered WWE sponsored rehab after being arrested on doctor shopping charges related to a prescription pill issue. A Dot Net reader spotted him working as a bouncer at a bar earlier this year.

-Former WWE wrestler Brian Lee is 47 today. He was born on November 26, 1966. Lee had a couple of stints in WWE beginning with his brief run as the fake version of The Undertaker. He had a stint in ECW, then returned to WWE for a run in 1997 as a member of the DOA faction. He also worked for TNA as a member of The New Church.

-Global Supercard Wrestling will air from 6:00 p.m. CT until 5:00 a.m. CT. There is no information provided about these shows.
