-WWE Raw will be held tonight in Austin, Texas at the Frank Erwin Center. WWE is playing up the return of Big Show. Plus, The Wyatt Family, Rob Van Dam, Triple H, and Vince McMahon are among the notable advertised talent. Join me for live coverage of Raw as the show airs on USA Network beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-WWE will be taping next week's Raw in Laredo, Texas on Tuesday. They will be taping Friday's Smackdown television show on Wednesday in Corpus Christi, Texas. And they will be taping next week's Smackdown in Houston, Texas on Thursday. The unique taping schedule is due to the upcoming tour of Australia and South Africa.

-The late Fabulous Moolah (a/k/a Mary Lillian Ellison) was born on this date in 1923. She died on November 2, 2007 at age 84. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1995.

-The late David Von Erich (a/k/a David Adkisson) was born on this date in 1958. He died on February 10, 1984 in Japan. The family claimed his death was due to a heart attack, while many skeptics point to a drug overdose. He was on tour for All Japan Pro Wrestling at the time of his death.

-Shaun Simpson is 47 today. He was born on July 22, 1966. Simpson teamed with his brother Steve. The South African duo worked mostly in World Class Championship Wrestling while in the United States.

-Japanese pro wrestler Akira Tozawa is 28 today. He was born on July 22, 1985. Tozawa will be working for Dragon Gate USA in New York this weekend.

-Former WWE wrestler Giant Silva (a/k/a Paulo Cesar de Silva) turned 50 on Sunday. He was born on July 21, 1963.

-Former WWE wrestler Shawn Stasiak (a/k/a Shawn Stipich) turned 43 on Sunday. He was born on July 21, 1970. He left the pro wrestling business and became a chiropractor.

-Legendary midget wrestler Sky Low Low (a/k/a Marcel Gauthier) was born on July 21, 1928. He died at age 70 in 1998.

-Former WCW wrestler Mike Sanders turned 44 on Saturday. He was born on July 20, 1969.

-The classic UWF television show airs tonight at 9:30 p.m. CT on ESPN Classic. The only listed match is Pez Whatley vs. Vladimir Koloff.

-The following matches are listed for the 4:00 a.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Bruiser Brody and Nord the Barbarian vs. Gladiator and Hernandez, Pistol Pete vs. Brad Rheingans, Stevens vs. RED, Mike Rotunda vs. Doug Somers.
