May 6, 2013 - 09:00 AM

By Jason Powell

-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Roanoke, Va. at the Roanoke Civic Center. The build for the Extreme Rules show should really kick in tonight, presumably with some undercard matches being announced, as there is only one edition of Raw between now and the pay-per-view. Plus, The Miz is listed as returning. Join me for live coverage of WWE Raw as the show airs on USA Network tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Raw, Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping in Raleigh, N.C. If you can help, email me me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members are listening to Chris Shore's 54-minute audio review of the ROH Border Wars iPPV. They will be listening to my audio review of WWE Raw later tonight. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for membership now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-The dark main event for tonight's Raw event is listed as John Cena and Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler and Ryback.

-Independent wrestling star Colt Cabana (a/k/a Scott Colton) is 33 today. He was born on May 6, 1980. Cabana hosts the ultra popular The Art of Wrestling podcast. Check out his free show (and feel free to make a donation) at TSMRadio.com/coltcabana/. By the way, does anyone know when Matt Classic's birthday is?

-Brian Knobbs (a/k/a Brian Yandrisovitz) is 49 today. He was born on May 6, 1964.

-TNA personality Brooke Hogan turned 25 on Sunday. She was born on May 5, 1988.

-WWE Hall of Famer Bill Watts celebrated his 74th birthday on Sunday. He was born on May 5, 1939. After a highly successful in-ring career, Watts owned and booked Mid-South Wrestling, which went on to become the Universal Wrestling Federation. He also served as executive vice president and booker of WCW, and was an executive with WWE.

-Hiroshi Hase turned 52 on Sunday. He was born on May 5, 1961. He retired from the ring in 2007 and worked as the PWF Chairman. His final day in that role will be on May 11, when he will be replaced by Kenta Kobashi.

-WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Fuji (a/k/a Harry Fujiwara) celebrated his 78th birthday on Saturday. He was born on May 4, 1935. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007 by Don Muraco.

-WWE referee Scott Armstrong (a/k/a Joseph James) turned 54 on Saturday. He was born on May 4, 1959.

-The following matches are listed for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Rob Stone vs. Scott Hall, Ricards and DeFalco vs. Yuri Gordyenko and Alexis Smirnoff, Tony Leoni and Dennis Stamp vs. The Midnight Rockers, Larry Zbyszko vs. Curt Hennig.
