WrestleMania 29 and WWE Fan Axxess complaints, WWE Main Event TV, Paul Bearer, TNA Gut Check seminar coming to Louisiana
Apr 10, 2013 - 09:00 AM

By Jason Powell

-The featured match on the WWE Main Event television show is The Shield vs. Kofi Kingston, Brodus Clay, and Sweet T in a six-man tag match. Join Ryan Kester for live coverage as the show airs on ION Network at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-There have been a lot of complaints from fans about obstructed views at Met Life Stadium during WrestleMania 29. Dot Net reader Henry Nunez stated that he wouldnt' see the ring or the entrance because of the set. When he approached the building staff he was told they could not help him out. Others have noted that they were relocated to different seats, though some fans like Henry had no such luck.

It's a shame that people who paid big money for WrestleMania tickets were left hanging. WWE really needs to have a plan in place to accommodate everyone who encounters such issues. It seems like they did a better job with his at WrestleMania 28, as several readers who attended that show reported at the time that they were relocated quickly. My advice to anyone who had an obstructed view and was not moved to better seats is to reach out to the company along with proof of where your seat was located. Don't get your hopes up for free tickets to WrestleMania 30, but I would be surprised if they didn't deliver some type of a make good offer.

-We also received several complaints about the WWE Fan Axxess events (though there were also a couple of positive reports). The biggest complaints were that the staff was rude and seemed unprepared for the the large crowds, and that talent would show up late for autograph signings and leave at their scheduled times without accommodating everyone who waited in line. At some point, you have to wonder if WWE will expand their Fan Axxess to multiple venues. It would spread out the attendees and WWE could make more money with separate fees for both buildings or a a combined fee that would allow fans to enter both venues.

-Dot Net Members are listening to my 53-minute audio review of Monday's WWE Raw television show. They are also listening to the two-hour audio review of WrestleMania 29 that featured former WWE creative team member Seth Mates joining Chris Shore and I to discuss the biggest show of the year, and new interviews with former WWE creative team member Court Bauer, Matt Hardy, Justin Credible, and Les Thatcher. -The late Paul Bearer (a/k/a Bill Moody) was born on this date in 1954. He would have been 59 today. He died on March 5 in Mobile, Alabama. It was later attributed to a heart attack. For those who missed Monday's Raw, Undertaker stated that his WrestleMania 29 match was dedicated to Paul Bearer.

-TNA is holding a Gut Check seminar in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the Baton Rouge River Center Arena from 2-4 p.m. on May 4. A press release states that the two-hour seminar "offers aspiring wrestlers, announcers, managers, valets, and referees the instructions and advice they can't receive anywhere else in the industry. -There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic today.
