WWE Smackdown/ECW tapings, WWE ratings notes, The CW bombs without Smackdown, pay-per-view seat filler note, Kevin Nash, Rhino, AWA match listing

-The WWE Smackdown and ECW tapings take place tonight in Spokane, Wash. and I am looking for reports on the Smackdown taping. The advertised main event on the arena website was Undertaker vs. Big Show in a no disqualification match. One can only assume that match is off now that Triple H vs. Big Show has been announced as the television main event.
-A fan who attended the pay-per-view on Sunday in Portland reports that as he and his wife were picking up their tickets at will call, someone from WWE approached them and asked if they were seat fillers. The fan encountered some of the seat fillers during the show and said it was obvious that they were not wrestling fans because they didn't recognize most of the wrestlers.
-Shawn Michaels did not appear on the 700 Club yesterday as advertised. Thanks to all the readers who sent in that note.
-The CW Network bombed in the ratings on Friday for it's first night without WWE Smackdown. The network drew a 1.1 rating. Ouch. Television critics are already questioning the network's decision to let WWE leave the network. Meanwhile, the folks at MyNetwork TV have to be celebrating after Smackdown drew the highest rating in the history of their network on Friday with that 1.9 final rating.
-ECW drew a 1.2 rating for the Sci-Fi Channel last week. The move to the earlier time slot had no effect on the rating, as this is the same mark the show reached in the two previous weeks. By the way, ECW starts at 8 p.m. CT now just in case you missed the change last week.
-Kevin Nash and Rhino are scheduled to appear at the Prime Time Wrestling event in Belleville, Mich. on Dec. 21. Visit PTWwrestling.com for more details. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
-Adult film star Trina Michaels appeared on the Unholy Matrimony show this week. Host Rory Karpf admits it's a stretch for a wrestling related item, but he notes that she is an aspiring wrestler. "And who doesn't like porn, right?" asked Rory.
-The following matches are listed for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Ricky Rice vs. Hurricane Kid, Wahoo McDaniel and Greg Gagne vs. Curt Hennig and Bob Orton, Iron Sheik squash, Sgt. Slaughter squash, Midnight Rockers vs. Badd Company.
