-Happy New Year! Okay, so I'm a day late. I hope you all had a fun New Year's Eve and here's hoping that 2013 will be the best year yet. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a great dinner with members of both sides of our family at my favorite local steakhouse Mancini's in St. Paul on Monday night. If you're ever in the Twin Cities, I highly recommend a stop at this local treasure.

-The first WWE television show of 2013 is WWE Main Event, which airs tonight on ION Network. The show will be headlined by Antonio Cesaro vs. The Great Khali for the U.S. Title. I don't think anyone would have guessed even a couple weeks ago that this would be the first televised match of the year. -WWE titles 50 Greatest Finishing Moves, NWO: The Revolution, and the John Cena vs. Rock Once in a Lifetime documentary has been added to Netflix. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Juan Mariscal]

-The NWA has announced that the vacant NWA National Championship will be awarded to the winner of a three-way match involving Damien Wayne, Chance Prophet, and Lance Erikson that will take place on January 5 at the NWA EDGE event in Nashville, N.C.

-In case you missed it yesterday, former TNA Champion Bobby Roode turned 36 on Tuesday. He was born on January 1, 1977.

-WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart celebrated his 69th birthday on Tuesday. He was born on January 1, 1944. Hart was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

-Rodney Lienhardt of Mean Street Posse fame celebrated his 42 birthday on Tuesday. He was born on January 1, 1971.

-Kimberly Page of Nitro Girls fame turned 43 on Tuesday. She was born on January 1, 1970. She and Dallas Page divorced in 2005, yet remain friends.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
