WWE in Green Bay and NYC (correspondents needed), TNA Impact Wrestling, Dot Net note, Bart Gunn, Bill Goldberg, Rosita, Demolition Ax, Chyna
Dec 27, 2012 - 09:00 AM

By Chris Shore

-TNA Impact Wrestling is taped again tonight, and it's Open Fight Night. The hype for the show features the first ever "Bro-Off" between Jessie and Robbie E. Whatever the hell that is, Ryan Kesater will have you covered tonight as the show airs on SpikeTV, beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE shows and for this weekend's WWE and TNA shows. If you can help with a results or a report, drop us a line at dotnetjason@gmail.com or css3238@gmail.com.

-The WWE Raw crew is at Madison Square Garden tonight in New York. The show is headlined by John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler in a cage, and Ryback vs. Paul Heyman. The New Age Outlaws are also scheduled to make an appearance. The Shield are also scheduled to appear, and they are mercifully, not on the Smackdown advertising as well this time.

-The WWE Smackdown crew is at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin tonight. The show is headlined by Sheamus vs. The Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship in a cage. Other stars scheduled to appear are Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio, and more.

-Demolition member Ax (a/k/a Bill Eadie) turns 65 today. The three time former WWE Tag Team Champions were last seen at CHIKARA's King of Trios weekend this year where they competed in a tag team gauntlet match.

-Former WWE Brawl for All winner Bart Gunn (a/k/a Mike Plotcheck) turns 49 today. Gunn shocked everyone when he turned out to be the best shoot fighter in the Brawl for All tournament only to get killed by shoot fighter Butterbean (a/k/a Eric Esch) at WrestleMania XV.

-Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg turns 46 today. Goldberg collected 11 tackles in 14 games in the NFL before rocketing to fame in the late 1990s for WCW. His loss to Kevin Nash is the flagpost for many people on when they knew WCW was doomed.

-TNA Knockout Rosita (a/k/a Thea Trinidad) turns a whopping 22 today. Rosita and her partner Sarita have not been seen in TNA since dropping the Knockouts Tag Title to ODB and Eric Young, and EY is now out of the company as well.

-Former WWE Diva Chyna (a/k/a Joanie Lauer) is 42 today. She was born on December 27, 1970.

-There are no classic wrestling shows scheduled for ESPN Classic tonight.
