-The WWE Raw crew returns to work tonight with a live event in Detroit, Michigan at Joe Louis Arena with the following advertised matches: John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/AJ and Big E Langston), Ryback, Kane, and Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield in a cage match, plus The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) make a special appearance. WWE is also advertising U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro and Intercontinental Champion The Miz for tonight's show.

-The WWE Smackdown crew is in Chicago, Illinois at Allstate Arena tonight. There are no matches listed on the arena website. The advertised talent pool includes Sheamus, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Ryback, Kofi Kingston, Dean Ambrose, Wade Barrett, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Layla, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, and Drew McIntyre. Yes, The Shield are advertised for both events. Oops.

-WWE developmental worker Kassius Ohno celebrated his 33rd birthday on Monday. He was born on December 24, 1979. Ohno previously worked as Chris Hero.

-Japanese pro wrestling legend The Great Muta (a/k/a Keiji Mutoh) celebrated his 50th birthday on Sunday. He was born on December 23, 1962.

-WWE producer Jamie Noble (a/k/a James Gibson) turned 36 on Sunday. He was born on December 23, 1976.

-DGUSA wrestler Arik Cannon turned 32 on Sunday. He was born on December 23, 1981.

-WWE wrestler Sin Cara (a/k/a Luis Alvirde) turned 30 on Saturday. He was born on December 22, 1982.

-TNA wrestler D.O.C. (a/k/a Drew Hankinson) turned 29 on Saturday. He was born on December 22, 1983. He previously wrestled as Festus and Luke Gallows in WWE.


-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
