Dec 10, 2012 - 09:00 AM

By Jason Powell

-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Newark, N.J. at Prudential Center. WWE Champion C.M. Punk is advertised for the show despite undergoing knee surgery last week. This will be the go-home show for Sunday's TLC pay-per-view, so look for plenty of focus on the new main event match of The Shield vs. Ryback, Kane, and Daniel Bryan. Join me for live coverage of Raw as the show airs on USA Network at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Raw in Newark, Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and the TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando. If you are going to any of those shows and want to help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-TNA is taping the Impact Wrestling television show tonight, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Fla. These are the final round of TNA tapings of 2012.

-Dot Net Members are listening to my 61-minute audio review of TNA Final Resolution. They will also be listening to my audio review of WWE Raw later tonight. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for a one-month, six-month, or annual membership via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-The dark match for tonight's Raw is advertised as John Cena and Sheamus vs. Big Show and Dolph Ziggler. They are also advertising C.M. Punk vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship, though obviously that one won't be taking place due to Punk recovering from surgery.

-WWE broadcaster Michael Cole (a/k/a Michael Sean Coulthard) celebrated his 44th birthday on Saturday. He was born on December 8, 1968.

-TNA broadcast team member Todd Keneley noted on his Twitter page that he celebrated a birthday on Saturday. However, he did not mention his age.

-WWE legend Slick (a/k/a Ken Johnson) turned 55 on Saturday. He was born on December 8, 1957.

-Former TNA and ROH wrestler Jimmy Rave is 30 today. He was born on December 8, 1982.

-WWE wrestler JTG (a/k/a Jayson Paul) is 28 today. He was born on December 10, 1984.

-In case you missed it yesterday, Kurt Angle turned 44. He was born on December 9, 1968.

-Former WWE wrestler Essa Rios (a/k/a Jose Seldano) is 34 today. He was born on December 10, 1978.

-Former TNA wrestler Matt Bentley is 33 today. He was born on December 10, 1979.

-The following matches are advertised for the 8:30 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: The Trooper vs. Tokyo Bullet, Mike George vs. The Menace, Nikita Koloff vs. Jones, D.J. Peterson and Rick McCord vs. Bennett and Carlson, Johnnie Stewart vs. Tony Denucci.

-The classic UWF show will air on ESPN at 9:30 p.m. CT. The main event is listed as Vladimir Koloff vs. Pez Whatley.
