WWE Network news today via Vince McMahon conference call, TNA Impact Wrestling TV, Dot Net Weekly, WWE in France (correspondents needed), WWE Hall of Famer Bobby Heenan, Tyler Reks
Nov 1, 2012 - 08:00 AM

By Jason Powell

-Vince McMahon is scheduled to host the WWE conference call today at 10 a.m. CT to discuss the third quarter earnings report. McMahon and company stated during the last conference call that they expected to have more news regarding the WWE Network during today's call, so it should be a newsworthy call even if they don't deliver. Join me for live coverage of the call this morning shortly after 10:00 a.m.

-Tonight's TNA Impact Wrestling television show features the Open Night Night format. The main event is Bully Ray vs. Devon, plus veteran wrestler Christian York will compete in the Gut Check Challenge. Join Ryan Kester for live coverage of Impact Wrestling as the show airs on Spike TV tonight beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-The Dot Net Weekly audio show will feature analysis of Vince McMahon's conference call statements, the third quarter earnings report, and much more. Dot Net's flagship audio show runs at least 90 minutes in length and often contains first run news items that have not been reported elsewhere. -We are looking for correspondents for the WWE European tour dates. If you are attending any of the upcoming shows and want to help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-The WWE Raw crew is in Nantes, France at Zenith Nantes. WWE is advertising C.M. Punk, John Cena, Antonio Cesaro, Zack Ryder, Ryback, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Tensai, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Eve, and A.J. Lee for the Raw tour.

-The WWE Smackdown tour kicks off today in Lyon, France at Halle Tony Garnier. The advertised talent for the tour includes Sheamus, Randy Orton, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Wade Barrett, Natalya, and Sin Cara.

-WWE Hall of Famer Bobby Heenan (a/k/a Ray Heenan) is 68 today. He was born on November 1, 1944. Happy birthday to my favorite manager and color commentator of all time.

-Former WWE wrestler Gabriel Tuft (a/k/a Tyler Reks) is 34 today. He left WWE earlier this year because he wanted to spend more time with his wife and young daughter. He has launched an internet marketing company.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
