-WWE Smackdown is the go home show for Hell in a Cell and WWE will put more heat on the Sheamus vs. Big Show feud, as well as announce one more match for the PPV. Join me for live coverage as the show airs on SyFy beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.
-WWE is holding no events this weekend until Sunday's Hell in a Cell PPV. We are looking for correspondents for the show. If you are attending Sunday and want to help, send a note to css3238@gmail.com.
-TNA is in Poplar Bluff, Missouri tonight, and St. Louis, Missouri Saturday night. Scheduled to appear at both shows are Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, Mickie James, Tara, and more. We are looking for correspondents for the shows. If you are attending one of the shows and want to help, send a note to css3238@gmail.com.
-TNA Stars Tara and AJ Styles will hold a meet and greet at Direct Auto Insurance on Saturday from 1-3 pm local time at the office on Chippewa Street in St. Louis. Fans can alos win Impact merchandise at the event,
-NXT will hold its live event in West Palm Beach, FL tonight at the West Palm Beach Armory. There was some concern with Hurricane Sandy off the coast, but the storm track will take the storm a safe enough distance away to allow the event to go on.
-CHIKARA announced new dates this week. They will be in Chicago on Nov. 10, and Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, Nov. 11. You can get ticket details at Chikarapro.com/events.php.
-NWA Action is at the Stockbridge Middle School in Stockbridge, GA Saturday night. The show is headlined by AJ Steele vs. Mike Cannon for the NWA Action title, plus former WWE star Luke Gallows will compete. You can get details at NWAAction.com.
-Former WCW wrestler and head booker Kevin Sullivan turns 63 today. Sullivan was a controversial character throughout his career, both as a booker and a wrestler. His story to have his on-screen and real life wife Nancy leave him for Chris Benoit led to the event happening in real life, which has led a small group of conspiracy theorists to claim he had something to do with the Benoit tragedy. He is retired from wrestling, but has made a few spot appearnaces since leaving WCW in 2001.
-Former ECW/WWE and Japanese Star Taka Michinoku (a/k/a Takao Yoshida) turns 39 today. Michinoku, who competed several times for the now retired WWE Light Heavyweight Championship, is still active for New Japan Pro Wrestling, and has lent his name to a sit out pile driver that is very popular on the independent circuit.
