Mick Foley debuted at Tuesday's taping, which airs Thursday night on Spike TV. -WWE signed Naofumi Yamamoto to a multiyear developmental deal, according to an AP report. "We are thrilled about adding another Japanese talent to our developmental roster and look forward to his speedy and successful development," WWE Japan executive Ed Wells stated in an AP story. Apparently, he also noted that the signing is part of WWE's tradition of having a Japanese wrestler on its roster. Well, I guess that explains why Funaki has lasted so long.
