-It's Labor Day weekend here in the United States. I will be enjoying my fantasy football league's 16th (or is it 17th?) annual draft tomorrow while Chris Shore holds down the fort. If you need to reach Chris on Saturday with news or live events reports, email him at css3238@gmail.com. Save travels to everyone as they enjoy the three-day weekend.

-The Pro Wrestling Guerrilla "Battle of Los Angeles" tournament takes place Saturday and Sunday in Reseda, California at American Legion Post 308. The talent pool includes Kevin Steen, Davey Richards, Michael Elgin, El Generico, Adam Cole, Eddie Edwards, Joey Ryan, and many more. We'll have the first round matches on the main page today. Will Pruett is attending the Saturday show and will have a report up that night. We are looking for correspondents who are attending tonight's show.

We are looking for correspondents for the WWE, TNA, and PWG live events this weekend. if you are going to one of the shows listed below and want to help, send a report to dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-The WWE Raw crew continues to tour Australia this weekend with a show today in Sydney, Australia at Allphones Arena, and the tour concludes on Saturday with a stop in Melbourne, Australia at Rod Laver Arena. There are no matches listed on the arena websites, but the talent listing for both shows include John Cena, C.M. Punk, Big Show, The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Tensai, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Santino Marella, A.J. Lee, and Layla.

-The WWE Smackdown crew is in Des Moines, Iowa at Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday with the following advertised matches: Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Wade Barrett in a Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler.

-The WWE Smackdown crew is in Madison, Wisconsin at Alliant Energy Center on Sunday with the same two matches advertised as the Des Moines show. The additional talent listed for the events are Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara, Ryback, Natalya, and Alicia Fox.

-TNA has live events tonight in Richmond, Va., at the Verizon Wireless Arena tonight and in Bowie, Maryland at Prince George's Stadium. There are no matches advertised for either show, but the advertised talent is Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, A.J. Styles, Jeff Hardy, James Storm, Christopher Daniels, and Kazarian.

-There are no ROH or DGUSA/Evolve shows this weekend. Both companies return with shows on September 8.

-Former WCW Champion Dallas Page appeared on the Highway2Helms online show this week. You can listen to the show at Youtube.com/watch?v=tCbYHU097lE&noredirect=1.

-Former ROH wrestler John "Tank" Toland is 32 today. He was born on August 31, 1980. He also worked as James Dick in WWE.

-There are no pro wrestling shows advertised for ESPN Classic this weekend. The UWF show will return on Monday night.
