-The WWE Raw crew is in Jacksonville, Fla. at the Veterans Memorial Arena tonight with the following lineup: John Cena vs. Big Show in a cage match, C.M. Punk vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship match "with A.J.", Chris Jericho and Zack Ryder vs. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.

-The WWE Raw crew is in Albany, Ga. at the Albany Civic Center on Saturday with the following advertised lineup: John Cena vs. Big Show in a steel cage match, A.J. appears as the general manager, C.M. Punk vs. Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho and Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler and The Miz, and Brodus Clay vs. JTG.

-The WWE Raw crew closes out its weekend on Sunday with a stop in Dothan, Alabama at the Dothan Civic Center. There are no matches listed on the arena website, but it will likely feature the same lineup as the Jacksonville event.

-The WWE Smackdown crew has a rare weekend off. They return to live events work next weekend with a two-day trip to Japan.

-Dot Net Members are listening to the 143-minute Dot Net Weekly audio show with Jason Powell and Chris Shore analyzing Vince McMahon's comments regarding WWE Network and the second quarter financial report, and all the news of the last week. -TNA is in Enid, Oklahoma at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center tonight with the following advertised matches: Austin Aries defends the TNA Title against the winner of a battle royal, Miss Tessmacher vs. Gail Kim for the TNA Knockouts Title.

-TNA is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Saturday with the same matches advertised for the Enid show.

-TNA is in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sunday with the same matches advertised as the other Oklahoma events.

-Ring of Honor is holding another round of television tapings tonight in Baltimore, Md. at Du Burns Arena. The show will feature the opening round of the eight-team tag title tournament for the vacant ROH Tag Titles. ROH Champion Kevin Steen will also defend the title against Homicide. Check the main page later today for the full lineup.

-Late pro wrestling legend Karl Gotch (a/k/a Karl Istaz) was born on this date in 1924. He died on July 28, 2007.

-The AWA television show will air on ESPN Classic on Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. The listing has a ridiculous number of matches for a one-hour show, so I assume it's inaccurate.
