-The huge WrestleCon event has been announced for the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, N.J. for April 5-7. The Friday events feature Evolve and Combat Zone Wrestling events. Saturday features WrestleExpo from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, plus Shimmer, Chikara, DGUSA, and 5 Dollar Wrestling events. Sunday will feature the WrestleExpo event from 9-5, plus the DGUSA event from beginning at 1:00 p.m. For more information on the big event, visit WrestleCon.com.

-"WWE Champion CM Punk returns to "The Bower Show" this Thursday July 19th to promote the Raw 1000th episode this Monday. -Steel Domain Wrestling is advertising NWA Champion Colt Cabana vs. Arya Daivari on September 22 in West St. Paul, Minnesota at The Armory.

-Carlos Colon is celebrating his 64th birthday today. He was born on July 18, 1948. He is the longtime promoter of the World Wrestling Council group in Puerto Rico, an he is the father of WWE stars Carlito and Primo, and the uncle of Epico (a/k/a Orlando Colon).

-TNA agent Al Snow (a/k/a Allen Sarven) is 49 today. He was born on July 18, 1963. He has taken on a number of duties under Bruce Prichard's lead in talent relations.

-Former WWE wrestler Joey Mercury (a/k/a Adam Birch) is 33 today. He was born on July 18, 1979. He is listed as semi-retired from in-ring action, yet he continues to work as a trainer within WWE developmental at Florida Championship Wrestling. He also worked as Joey Matthews for most of his career.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
