-Tonight's TNA Impact Wrestling is the go-home show for Sunday's Destination X pay-per-view. The show will feature James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy in a Bound For Glory Series match, and additional X Division Tournament qualifying matches. Join me for live coverage of Impact Wrestling as the show airs on Spike TV at 7:00 p.m. CT.
-Dot Net Members will be listening to the new Dot Net Weekly audio show later today. Jason Powell and Chris Shore analyze all the news of the week and preview the Destination X pay-per-view. Join us on the ad-free version of the site now by signing up for membership via Prowrestling.net/amember/signup.php.
-WWE Superstars will feature Sin Cara vs. Antonio Cesaro as one of the three matches. There were actually three matches taped at the Smackdown tapings last week that did not air on the show, as WWE presumably planned ahead to avoid production conflicts with the Fourth of July holiday yesterday. We will not have live coverage this week as Ryan Kester is out of town enjoying the holiday week, but we should have the video on the site on Friday.
-TNA star Sting, Lex Luger, and Nikita Koloff will appear at Open Bridge Church in McDonough, Ga. on August 5. The church is located at 136 Hood St., McDonough, Ga. [Thanks to Dot Net reader James Rudder]
-ROH wrestler Adam Cole (a/k/a Austin Jenkins) is 23 today. He was born on July 5, 1989. Cole is one of the bright young stars of the ROH promotion and he made headlines over the weekend (spoiler related).
-Jerry Sags (a/k/a Jerry Saganovich) is 48 today. He was born on July 5, 1964.
-Brutus Beefcake is scheduled to appear at the Abbotsford Agrifair on August 4-5 in Abbotsford, British Columbia. For more information on the event, visit Agrifair.ca/. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
-The following matches are advertised for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Tony Leone vs. Larry Zbyszko, Spike Jones vs. John Nord, Jake Milliman and Kent Carlson vs. The Hangmen, George Anderson vs. Col. DeBeers, Russian Brute vs. Sgt. Slaughter.
