-Rob Van Dam stated during a Between the Ropes interview on Tuesday that his wife Sonya is going through the fourth of 12 chemotherapy treatments during her battle with colon cancer. He said she has actually gained weight despite going through the treatments and he credited cannabis for helping her do so. To listen to the interview, check out the 10th Anniversary edition of the Between the Ropes radio show at BetweenTheRopes.com.
-I'll be posting some of Chris Jericho's comments from his Between The Ropes interview in the WWE News section shortly, but I highly recommend checking out the entire 10-year anniversary show, which featured RVD, Jericho, Brother Devon, and Jerry Lynn. Congrats again to the BTR gang on 10 years.
-WWE's "Smackdown vs. Raw 2008" has reached "Greatest Hits" status, according to a press release issued by THQ. As such, the game now sells for $19.99 on the Playstation 2 system. To read the press release, click here.
-Triple H interviewed heavy metal icon Lemmy Kilmister for a WWE website feature. Hunter noted that he hopes to attend the band's show on Sept. 20 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. In case you're wondering, WWE does not have a house show scheduled that night.
-Lance Storm has an entertaining series of articles on "cool" and comedic" heels posted on his website. In the latest installment, he dubs Santino Marella as the best comedic heel in the business today. To read the article, visit StormWrestling.com.
-Tito Santana will appear on the InYourHeadOnline.com. tonight at 8 p.m. (ET). You can call in with questions at 1-508-644-8503.
-Sgt. Slaughter is 60 today.
-The following matches will air on tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Marty Jannetty in his AWA debut against Nick Kiniski, Lord Littlebrook and Little Tokyo vs. Cowboy Lang and Little Mr. T, Stan Hansen vs. Rick Martel for the AWA Title. Apparently, they've reached the end of the AWA's run or they are just jumping back to a better era.
