-WWE Smackdown takes place tonight in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. WWE didn't bother to advertise anything for this week's television show. Okay, technically they did ask whether John Laurinaitis had been fired long after showing us he won his match at Over The Limit, but I'm going to guess that said question won't be a major selling point of the show. -WWE is advertising two dark matches for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping. Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Hvt. Championship, and Randy Orton vs. Kane in a Street Fight.

-WWE Raw is returning to Las Vegas, Nevada on July 16. The company is running its first show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center rather than at its usual location at the Thomas and Mack Center. -The late Brian Pillman would have been 50 today. He was born on May 22, 1962. He died on October 5, 1997 due heart disease, and alcohol and painkillers contributed to his death.

-Former WWE wrestler Daniel Rodimer is 34 today. He was born on May 22, 1978. At last check, the former WWE Tough Enough finalist was working in real estate.

-TNA Knockout Traci Brooks (a/k/a Tracy Brookshaw) is 37 today. She was born on May 22, 1975. She is married to fellow TNA wrestler Frankie Kazarian.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed on ESPN Classic tonight.
