-The WWE Smackdown tapings take place tonight in Hershey, Pa. at Giant Center. This is the go-home show for Sunday's WWE Over The Limit pay-per-view. The main event will feature World Hvt. Champion Sheamus facing Randy Orton in a non-title match.

-The TNA Impact Wrestling tapings take place tonight in Orlando, Florida for next week's television show. There are no matches advertised, but it will be Open Fight Night. You can find the spoilers for Monday's taping on the main page.

-World Class Championship Wrestling legend Kevin Von Erich (a/k/a Kevin Adkisson) is 55 today. He was born on May 15, 1957. He was inducted along with the entire Von Erich family into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

-Newly inducted WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons is 54 today. He was born on May 15, 1958. Simmons is regarded as the first African-American to win a World Championship in pro wrestling via his WCW Title win over Vader on August 2, 1992.

-Showcase Championship Wrestling is running a show on June 9 in Middle Village in Queens, N.Y. at St. Margaret's School. The main event features Stevie Richards defending the SCW Title against Marty Jannetty. Plus, Perry Saturn faces Danny Doring, Nunzio (w/Big Sal) vs. Josh Daniels, Braden Walker vs. Danny Inferno, and Matt Borne vs. Smith James.

-Platinum Championship Wrestling returns to Porterdale, Ga. on May 19 with Empire Champion Shane Marx vs. De Le Vega in a steel cage match, and PCW Champion Mason vs. Eric Walker. The show will be held at 2001 Main Street at 6:00 p.m. ET.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
