-The WWE Smackdown tapings take place tonight in Toledo, Ohio at Huntington Center. The main event of the television taping is Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan and Kane in a tag match. We are looking for correspondents for tonight's taping. If you are going to the show and want to help, contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-TNA is taping next week's Impact Wrestling show tonight in Orlando, Florida. There are no matches advertised since it's for next week's show. If you are going to the Impact taping or went to Monday's show, you are encouraged to send a report to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-Dot Net Members are listening to my 52-minute audio review of Monday's WWE Raw television show, and the 76-minute audio review of WWE Extreme Rules that Jake Barnett and I recorded on Sunday night. Join us on the ad-free version of the website and listen to hours of new audio content every week.
-The advertised dark main event for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping is Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, the listing is dated, as Bryan is still listed as the champion.
-WWE broadcaster Booker T (a/k/a Robert Booker Tio Huffman) is 47 today. He was born on March 1, 1965. In addition to his WWE duties, Booker continues to run the "Reality of Wrestling" promotion in Houston. The promotion was previously called the Pro Wrestling Alliance.
-Former WWE wrestler Dave Taylor is 55 today. He was born on May 1, 1957.
-Dot Net reader Moustafa Mohsin attended the Comic Con expo in Calgary at BMO Centre last week and sent the following report: "They advertised Virgil, Ted DiBiase, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Honky Tonk Man, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. They also had other non-WWE celebrities too (Star Wars, etc) There was a bigger line for Hacksaw and Jake.
"I met up with Hacksaw first and he was nicest WWE Legend I've ever spoke with. He took a picture and signed an autograph, DiBiase offered me to take a picture with his Million Dollar Title belt for an extra $10 (it's $20 per autograph). Jake was not nice for some reason. I picked a picture of him and Taker to have signed. He just seemed too rushed. Virgil's booth was really really slow.
-The UWF show returned on ESPN Classic last night, but there are no pro wrestling shows listed for the network tonight.
