-UFC 144 airs on pay-per-view on Saturday night from Japan. The show is headlined by Frankie Edgar vs. Benson Henderson, and Rampage Jackson vs. Ryan Bader. Check back on Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. CT for Ryan Kester's live coverage of the show. UFC will be airing prelim fights on FX leading into the pay-per-view.
-WWE Smackdown will air in the usual Friday night time slot on Syfy at 7:00 p.m. CT. This will be the replay of Tuesday's live special featuring C.M. Punk vs. Daniel Bryan in a champion vs. champion match as the show's main event. Although Tuesday's show did not record on some DVR systems, it is listed on DirecTV by its usual name, and thus should record tonight if you have it set to recording a weekly basis. We will not have live coverage of the show tonight, but I will bump up the reports of Chris Shore and Jake Barnett from Tuesday so that you can follow along with them if you choose.
-WWE star John Cena will only appear on a weekend live event tonight in Los Angeles. He has the rest of the weekend off because he will be waving the green flag as the honorary starter of the Daytona 500 on Sunday. The race begins at 12:00 p.m. CT on Sunday on FOX with pre-race coverage beginning at 11:00 a.m. CT.
