-The movie "Fancypants" starring Roddy Piper, Patrick Gleason, and Robert Carradine will be showing at the AMC Westshore 14 in Tampa, Florida on Thursday night. The film won the best picture award at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg last year. The film will eventually be released on DVD and VOD. -The first WWE Smackdown after WrestleMania 28 will be held in Orlando, Fla. The advertised dark main event is C.M. Punk, John Cena, Randy Orton, and Big Show vs. The Miz, Kane, Mark Henry, and Daniel Bryan in an eight-man tag match. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Michael D]

-Premiere Wrestling Experience is holding a two-night event labeled "Die Hard" on Friday in Lancaster, S.C. and on Saturday in Columbia, S.C. The shows will feature Eddie Edwards, Grizzly Redwood, Rhett Titus, and Cedric Alexander. Titus is just a few weeks removed from surgery, but the advertising acknowledges that and states that he has vowed to compete.
