Brooke and Nick Hogan news, Ultimate Warrior discusses his return to the ring, Mike Adamle petition on a WWE website, Sandman drunken speech and brawl video, SHIMMER women's match available online

-Brooke Hogan told E! blogger Marc Malkin that she flew Linda Oliver, a woman that Nick "is very fond of," from New York to Florida to visit the jailhouse for his birthday on Sunday. She also noted that she sat a foot away from her mother Linda during the party, but they did not make eye contact. To read the story, visit EOnline.com. Yep, slow morning for news.
-Newsday.com blogger Alfonso Castillo posted the second part of his interview with Ultimate Warrior. "I was inspired by the challenge," Warrior said of his recent return to the ring. "I want to be inspired. I’m not inspired by much, or what going on in culture today. And that directly connected to wrestling. I don't watch professional wrestling. I don’t watch it at all. When I say that to people. They don’t believe it. I don’t watch any television hardly at all." To read the full interview, visit Newsday.com.
-Bruno Lauer (a/k/a Harvey Whippleman, Downtown Bruno) has launched a website to promote his book "Wrestling with the Truth." You can check out the website by clicking here.
-There was a petition started on the WWE Fan Nation website with the hope that Mike Adamle will be fired from Raw. You can check it out by clicking here. My feeling is that it's a no-win situation, as the more signatures there are, the more likely WWE officials are to convince themselves that Adamle is a hot button topic.
-Dot Net reader Aaron McMann noted that they ran an ad for the eight-man tag match that will appear on Saturday Night's Main Event during Raw. I mistakenly stated that they had yet to advertise any matches. That being said, 99 percent of the hype for Saturday's show has been focussed on the Generation Rescue celebrities.
-For those who want to see a video of Sandman making an admittedly drunken speech and some of his brawl that led to his arrest last week in New York, click here. [Thanks to the various readers who have sent that link in recent days]
-SHIMMER is advertising that their "Come As You Are Rumble" that was held at their first television taping is available online at Youtube.com. The company notes that this was a dark match that was an Easter Egg on their Volume 1 DVD, which is out of print.
