WWE in Detroit and Pittsburgh (correspondents needed), Dot Net Free Audio Week continues, Ricky Morton and Luke Gallows at World of Wheels, Lanny Poffo, Tatsumi Fujinami, top ten wrestling moves list

By Jason Powell

-The WWE Smackdown holiday tour has a stop in Detroit, Michigan tonight at the Joe Louis Arena. The advertised lineup is dated, as Mark Henry vs. Big Show in a cage is listed as World Hvt. Championship match. Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett in a street fight is also advertised. Henry is listed on the talent roster on the WWE website, and at last check he would be making his scheduled dates despite nursing a groin injury. However, I would be surprised if he actually wrestles.

-The WWE Raw holiday tour continues tonight in Pittsburgh, Pa. at Consol Energy Center. The show will feature C.M. Punk, John Cena, Kane, The Miz, Air Boom, and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler.

-We are looking for correspondents for the WWE holiday tour events. If you are going to the shows listed above or upcoming shows in Washington D.C., Buffalo, Hartford, or New Jersey and want to help us out, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net's Free Audio Week continues today with a new show that Chris Shore will be debuting. Chris has been recording a weekly Q&A show and there will be an element of that included, along with some new ideas that Chris has for the show. Check out the debut edition today. If you like the audio shows you hear this week and want to listen to them on a weekly basis, sign up for membership via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page. Check back tomorrow morning to find out which audio show will be made available.

-Former WWE wrestler Lanny Poffo is 57 today. He was born on December 28, 1954. Poffo's poem regarding his late brother Randy Savage was featured on TMZ over the weekend.

-Japanese pro wrestling legend Tatsumi Fujinami is 58 today. He was born on December 28, 1953.

-Ricky Morton of Rock-n-Roll Express fame and former WWE star Luke Gallows are advertised for personal appearances at the World of Wheels event in Chattanooga, Tenn. The advertising notes that Super Show Productions will be holding matches throughout the weekend of January 6-8. For more details on the event, visit WorldOfWheels.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=41&Itemid=59.

-Mentality Magazine has a feature on the top ten pro wrestling moves of all time. You can read their, um, interesting list at Mentalitymagazine.com/2011/12/27/top-10-wrestling-moves-of-all-time/. Brutus Beefcake's sleeper hold? Really?

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic this week. However, the AWA television show will return on Monday night in the usual 11 p.m. CT slot.
