-The WWE Smackdown taping takes place tonight in Richmond, Va. at The Richmond Coliseum. We are looking for correspondents for tonight's taping. -The advertised dark match is listed as Randy Orton vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry in a Triple Threat with Booker T as special referee. It's a dated listing, though, as the match is listed as being for the World Hvt. Championship.

-The Smackdown taping will be the final WWE show of the week. The crew has the weekend off to enjoy the holidays, which is a great move by WWE. They will return to action on Monday for Raw in Chicago.

-WWE developmental hot prospect Dean Ambrose (a/k/a Jon Moxley) worked the dark match held prior to Monday's WWE Raw show. He lost the match to Ted DiBiase. He also worked the weekend house shows. He's excellent on the mic and is someone to keep an eye on in 2012.

-The TNA tournament that is taking place on the Xplosion show is down to the final four. The semi-final matches are Samoa Joe vs. Kazarian, and Christopher Daniels vs. Devon. -Aspiring MMA fighter Joe Batten was killed recently in a street fight that tok place in Cambridge, Ont. Batten earned a gold medal in the intermediate no-gi grappling competition that was held at the UFC Fan Expo in Toronto back in April.
