-The WWE Smackdown tapings take place tonight in Raleigh, N.C. at the RBC Center. This will be the go-home show for Sunday's WWE TLC pay-per-view. The advertised dark main event is Mark Henry vs. Big Show vs. Randy Orton in a Triple Threat match for the World Hvt. Championship.

-TNA is taping next week's Impact Wrestling television show in Orlando, Fla. tonight. There are no matches advertised. TNA will also be holding their final television taping of 2011 on Wednesday.

-The WWE Tribute to the Troops special will air on USA Network tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT. The show is listed as being presented with "limited commercial interruptions." This is the two-hour version of the special. NBC will air a one-hour version later this week. Check the main page shortly for the spoilers and/or a spoiler-free preview of the show that was taped on Sunday night in Fayetteville, N.C.

WWE announced a six-month television distribution deal with MNC Sports on Monday. The deal will bring WWE Raw, the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and TLC to Indonesia television. To read the official announcement, visit CorporateWWE.com.

-WWE Hall of Famer The Junkyard Dog (a/k/a Sylvester Ritter) was born on this date back in 1952. He died on June 2, 1998. He was killed in a single car accident in Mississippi as he was returning home from his daughter's high school graduation. His daughters and Ernie Ladd inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame back in in 2004.

-Former AWA and WWE wrestler Boris Zhukov (a/k/a Jim Harrell) is 52 today. He was born on December 13, 1959. He won the AWA Tag Titles with Soldat Ustinov in 1987, but he left the company without dropping the titles to sign with WWE, where he worked with Nikolai Volkoff as a member of The Bolsheviks.

-Former AWA wrestler and longtime pro wrestling trainer Brad Rheingans is 58 today. He was born on December 13, 1953.

-There are no pro wrestling shows advertised for ESPN Classic tonight.
