WWE Wellness Policy changes, WWE Smackdown match listing (no spoilers), "Dr. Death" Steve Williams and Bill Dundee interviewed, Brock Lesnar making the rounds
Jul 25, 2008 - 08:58 AM

-WWE updated its Wellness Policy earlier this week to officially include announcing the suspensions of its performers, which it had been doing since Nov. 1, 2007. Anti-estrogens have been added to the list of banned substances. They are also including madatory pre-contract cardiovascular, drug screening, and physical exams for new performers. To read the full list of changes, visit Corporate.WWE.com.

-The following matches are scheduled to air on tonight's WWE Smackdown: Shelton Benjamin vs. Jimmy Wang Yang, Curt Hawkins vs. Festus, Vladimir Kozlov vs. Stevie Richards, a six-man battle royal to determine Triple H's challenger at SummerSlam, Michelle McCool vs. Maryse, Brian Kendrick vs. Shannon Moore.

-The six wrestlers in the Smackdown battle royal are Jeff Hardy, MVP, Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, Great Khali, and Big Show.

-This will be a newsworthy show due to the battle royal, as well as the next big development in the Edge and Vickie Guerrero storyline.

-Brock Lesnar was featured in a television news story at KARE11.com. If you want to hear the full press conference Brock held on Wednesday as well as the one-on-one interview I conducted with him late last month, simply become a Dot Net Member for $5 per month by visiting the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-Lesnar also appeared on 93X radio this morning. He's really making the rounds locally to promote this fight.

-St. Paul Pioneer Press columnist Charlie Walters compared AWA ticket prices to the current prices charged by WWE for the Sept. 29 Raw in a column on Thursday. "Tickets for the Sept. 29 World Wrestling Entertainment show at Target Center range from $20 to $60. The late Minneapolis promoter Wally Karbo used to sell a similar show for about $8 a ticket." Karbo was a promoter with Verne Gagne in the AWA."

-BizzleShow.com is now using Prowrestling.net for its newsfeed. You can check out their latest show, which features Steve "Dr. Death" Williams and Bill Dundee, by clicking here.

-Ringgoddess.com is holding another taping on Aug. 10. The following women are among the those listed for the show: Hellena Heavenly, April Hunter, Bobcat, Naveaeh, SinD. For more information, check out RingGoddess.com.
