-TNA Impact Wrestling features Bobby Roode and Jeff Jarrett vs. A.J. Styles and Jeff Jarrett in the main event. James Storm is also advertised as returning to the show to confront Kurt Angle. -WWE Superstars features Mason Ryan vs. Drew McIntyre in what our correspondent said was a competitive match. Plus, Evan Bourne returns to televised action for the first time since he was suspended due to a Wellness Policy violation. Ryan Kester will be covering the show live as it airs on the WWE website, assuming the company actually gets around to airing the show sometime around the advertised 3:00 p.m. CT start time.

Chris Shore and I will analyze all the news of the week and preview Sunday's TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view. -Former WWE manager Slick (a/k/a Ken Johnson) is 54 today. He was born on December 8, 1957. He is an ordained minister and lived in Texas at last check. His last appearance for WWE was on the "Old School" edition of Raw back on November 15, 2010.

-Former TNA wrestler Jimmy Rave (a/k/a James Guffey) is 29 today. He was born on December 8, 1982. Rave recently worked a dark match for TNA. He has been open about having an addiction issue that plagued him until he checked into rehab.

-The NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood television show is being shifted to Friday at 2:00 a.m. due to Anaheim Ducks hockey airing on the same station. The producers have opted to rerun last week's episode. Thus, a new episode will air on December 17 at 9:00 p.m., and the show will return to its normal Saturday slot at 4:00 p.m. on December 24 on KDOC, which recently upgraded to HD.
