Shawn Michaels added to another WWE house show, TNA Impact tonight, Lacey Von Erich missing dates while shooting a movie, Ultimate Warrior interview, Torrie Wilson

-In further proof that Shawn Michaels will be making his return from his "career-ending" eye injury sooner rather than later, he was added to the WWE house show in Wheeling, W. Va. yesterday. He will be teaming with John Cena in a match against Chris Jericho and JBL. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Ben Hough]
-The question on the graphic for tonight's TNA Impact asks, "Why, Sting, Why?" The question was posed regarding his involvement in the Victory Road pay-per-view match between Samoa Joe and Booker T. I guess I don't understand the question. Sting interfered because he felt like Joe had proved his point and was being too ruthless in his match against Booker. Joe told Sting to F--- off, and Sting got upset and hit Joe with the baseball bat twice. Joe got in his face and it seemed like Sting had a just cause to do what he did. Then again, I also though Joe proved what he needed to in this match and, yet, TNA makes him out to be a self-doubting wuss. Strange.
-Speaking of TNA, the following matches are being advertised for tonight's show: A.J. Styles and Christian Cage and Rhino vs. Kurt Angle and Team 3D in an elimination tables match, Taylor Wilde vs. Velvet Sky for the TNA Knockouts Title, Robert Roode and James Storm vs. The Motor City Machine Guns in a strap match, Eric Young vs. Consequences Creed vs. Johnny Devine in a three-way. Check back tonight for Dot Net's "Live Coverage."
-WWE will be holding a press conference to discuss the second quarter results on Aug. 5 that will be aired on the company's corporate website.
-Check out brief video footage of the interview Alfonso Castillo interviewed Ultimate Warrior over the weekend for Newsday.com.
-Torrie Wilsonis celebrating her 33rd birthday today.
-The National Wrestling Superstars promotion announced that Lacey Von Erich will not be appearing on their weekend shows that begin tonight. "Miss Von Erich sends hers apologies and wishes to convey to her fans that the problem was due to scheduling conflicts with movie production in which she is involved with as one of the cast members of the soon to be released High School Musical," reads the press release. "Both 3 Count Promotions (who was also involved with the booking) and National Wrestling Superstars would also like to convey that they feel Miss Von Erich was most professional in her handling of the situation and am sure, as always, will be keeping the Von Erich name in high esteem in future events."
-WWE returns to the Civic Center in Columbus, Ga. on Nov. 30. Tickets go on sale Oct. 25.
-Al Snow headlines the International Wrestling Entertainment show on Aug. 9 at the Hamilton Place's Studio Theater in Hamilton, Ont. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
