-Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was arrested on felony charges of hit-and-run, reckless driving, and evading police on Tuesday in Los Angeles. According to the police report, Jackson was driving on the sidewalk, "causing pedestrians to flee for their lives." The police determined that Jackson was "medically unfit" to be booked. He was hospitalized in Orange County, Calif. at last check. To view photos of the police arresting him at gunpoint, visit TMZ.com.
-I'm still looking for a WWE Smackdow taping report. If you attended the show and can file a report or even send the basic results, send them to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-Jake Roberts posted another review of Raw. "Afterbirth, all I can say is won't the murder of Cena hurt the PPV??," he wrote. "What a stinking way to end a decent show.
Tonight we've had a DQ, a count out, a girl-boy match, a lost match, an impromptu match, and Noble non-match, no referee. Tonight we had over 33 minutes of wrestling. A fluke? I hope not." To read the full review, visit his MySpace Page.
-Dot Net reader Ryan Madland sent word that the password for today's pre-sale for the September 29 Raw show in Minneapolis is CMPUNK.
-WWE has updated the lineup for the July 27 Raw house show in Altoona, Pa. with the following matches: C.M. Punk vs. Batista for the World Hvt. Title, John Cena and Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho and JBL, Kofi Kingston vs. Lance Cade for the Intercontinental Title, Cryme Tyme vs. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes for the World Tag Titles, D-Lo Brown vs. Kane. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
-Comedy Central ran a list of wrestlers who would make good running mates for Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama. Among the names on the list are Undertaker, Ultimate Warrior, Mick Foley, and Sgt. Slaughter. To read the list and the explanations for why they would be a good fit with the candidates, visit Indecision2008.com.
-Dot Net reader Pete Gerber sent more Obama/wrestling related news: "ObamaFactCheck.com, a site that verifies and debunks varies rumors about Barack Obama, has his appearance on WWE Raw a couple of months ago as their featured video. Normally the featured video is something recent, must be a slow news month."
