-Chris Shore has released the first book of his "The Following Contest" series. The Following Contest is a Dark Match is now available exclusively on ebook for all eReaders, smartphones, tablets, or PCs for just 99 cents at Smashwords. I read the first draft of the fiction book and enjoyed it. I hope you'll support Chris, who has put a lot of time and energy into this project.
-The WWE Super Smackdown television show will be replayed on Syfy tonight in the usual 7:00 p.m. CT slot. I have the show set to record weekly and, unlike Tuesday's show, this show is still showing up as recording on my DirecTV DVR. However, Tuesday's show ran five minutes long, so you may need to change your weekly recording settings just in case the company didn't edit five minutes off the broadcast. The live coverage team of Chris Shore and Jake Barnett have the night off since the show was already covered by Jake and I when it aired live on Tuesday.
-We are looking for correspondents for the WWE and TNA weekend events listed below. If you are going to one of the shows and want to help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-The WWE Raw crew is in San Juan, Pueto Rico tonight with the following advertised talent: John Cena, C.M. Punk, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Alex Riley, Jack Swagger, David Otunga, John Morrison, Michael McGillicutty, Primo Colon, Evan Bourne, Beth Phoenix, Eve, and Kelly Kelly. Yes, Primo's last name is listed by WWE given his family's success on the island.
-The WWE Smackdown crew is in Geneva, Switzerland at Arena Geneve on Saturday. The advertised talent list features Randy Orton, Christian, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara, Mark Henry, The Great Khali, Alicia Fox, and Natalya.
-The WWE Raw crew is in Trenton, N.J. at Sun National Bank Center on Saturday. The advertised main event is Alberto Del Rio vs. C.M. Punk vs. John Cena in a Triple Threat for the WWE Championship. -The WWE Raw crew is in Wheeling, W. Va. at WesBanco Arena. The show will feature two WWE Championship matches. Alberto Del Rio will defend the WWE Championship against C.M. Punk, and then the winner will defend the title against John Cena later in the night.
