WWE PPV dark match between Jeff Hardy and MVP, Raw tonight in Jim Ross's hometown, WWE house show lineups, AWA time change, Booker T, Scott D'Amore

-Jeff Hardy defeated MVP in a dark match held before the Night of Champions pay-per-view. "Jeff Hardy won the match and it was a really good fight," according to Dot Net reader Cody Tooker.
-Raw takes place tonight in Oklahoma City, Okla. The show is sponsored by Jim Ross's "J.R.'s Bar-BQ" restaurants and he has already indicated that he plans to attend the show even though he's moved over to the Smackdown side. There is speculation that Ross will call tonight's show along with Jerry Lawler as a final Raw sendoff. That would be a wise move given that Michael Cole could get booed out of the building if he calls the show in J.R.'s hometown.
-There are no listings for the AWA on ESPN Classic show tonight. However, it is worth noting that the show is now airing one-hour earlier beginning tonight at 11 pm (CT).
-Upcoming WWE Smackdown house show lineup: August 11 in Reading, Pa. features Edge vs. Jeff Hardy for the World Hvt. Championship, Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry, Big Show vs. Umaga, Trevor Murdoch vs. MVP.
-Upcoming WWE Raw house show lineup: July 27 in Altoona, Pa. at the Jaffa Shrine Center features John Cena vs. JBL, Shawn Michaels and C.M. Punk vs. Chris Jericho and Lance Cade, Batista vs. Kane, Mickie James vs. Katie Lea for the WWE Women's Title. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk for the last two items.]
-TNA backstage agent Scott D'Amore's Can-Am Wrestling School is featured in The Windsor Star. The article labels him as "Windsor's Don Kong of wrestling," and refers to him as a "writer for TNA wrestling." To read the story, visit Canada.com.
-Booker T and Daivari are scheduled to appear at the Varsity Pro Wrestling events in England on July 31 in Bournemouth and Aug. 2 in Portsmouth. For more information, visit VarsityProWrestling.com.
-Sonjay Dutt hometown listed incorrectly? Dot Net reader Mario from North Carolina writes: "This is just a quick note about something that bugs me about TNA and adds to their bush-league image. They continue to introduce Sonjay Dutt as being from Bombay, India. Bombay's name was changed to Mumbai quite some time ago."
