TNA Impact with TNA Title match, WWE press conference, Undertaker appearing overseas, Kurt Angle and Bruno Sammartino, help wanted from overseas readers, AWA match listings
By Jason Powell Jun 12, 2008 - 08:58 AM

-TNA is advertising the following matches for tonight's show on Spike TV: Samoa Joe vs. Kaz for the TNA Title, Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky, and Dragon Gate's Doi and Yoshino vs. The Motor City Machine Guns in an X Cup preview match.

-WWE is holding a press conference today in New York for McMahon's Million Dollar Mania. Maybe they'll deliver that "blockbuster announcement" that was supposedly unrelated to the giveaway contest this time around. I'm not holding my breath. Vince McMahon, Triple H, John Cena, and Maria are are listed for the event at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square at noon (ET). Look for a repeat of the press conference they held in Los Angeles.

-Vince appeared on "Your World Today With Neal Cavuto" on Wednesday. Dot Net reader Dan Tabor reports: "He was hyping the Million Dollar Giveaway and the fact that no one has ever given away one million dollars of their own money in a on television.  No mention was made of how crappy he actually was on Monday's Raw."

-In case you missed it yesterday, the New Zealand Herald mentioned that Undertaker is appearing on the New Zealand (and Australia) tour despite his storyline banishment from WWE. The storyline excuse is that Vickie Guerrero is letting him say goodbye to the fans overseas. Speaking of fans overseas...

-Help Wanted from overseas readers: I'm looking for reports from the WWE shows in New Zealand and Australia this week, as well as the four TNA shows in the UK this weekend. If you can help, please send a report to dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Kurt Angle and Bruno Sammartino are scheduled to be part of the Pittsburgh Federated Investors Parade of Champions between June 20-22. The city is celebrating 250 years and will recognize local sports heros from the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, etc. Angle and Bruno are scheduled to sign autographs. For more information, check out PGHHistory.com. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Duane Carpenter]

-Jerry Lawler and Jim Duggan are being advertised for Eastern Pro Wrestling events July 31 through August 2 in Plymouth, Fall River, and Stoneham, Mass. For more information, visit EPWwrestling.com. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]

-The following matches are listed for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: A Top Guns squash, Manny Fernandez vs. Houdini (I'll bet he can't escape doing a job), a Greg Gagne squash, Col. Debeers squash match, Jerry Blackwell vs. Krusher (probably the Russian and not The Crusher based on the spelling), and Debra "Madusa" Miceli vs. Linda Sexton for the AWA Women's Title.
