WWE weekend, Kurt Angle, ROH tag title tournament, absent WWE Diva provides an update on her status, more on WWE Diva house giveaway, AWA match listings

-The WWE Raw crew is in Redding on Saturday and in Stockton on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Smackdown/ECW crew will be in Fresno tonight and in and in San Jose on Sunday for television tapings. If you attend one of the weekend shows, please send a report to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-TNA is running a house show tonight in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Although it is not advertised, I guess it wouldn't shock me if Kurt Angle worked a match just to knock some of the rust off before his Slammiversary pay-per-view match against A.J. Styles on Sunday. He has yet to wrestle since he suffered a neck injury last month.
-ROH is running shows in Hartford tonight and in Philadelphia on Saturday. The show tonight will feature an eight-team tournament for the vacant ROH Tag Titles with the following first-round matches: Jigsaw and Ruckus vs. Adam Pearce and Chris Hero, Nigel McGuinness and Go Shiozaki vs. Kevin Steen and El Generico, Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black vs. Delirious and Pelle Primeau, and Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson vs. Rockderick Strong and Davey Richards.
-Tomorrow night's ROH show in Philly features McGuinness vs. Shiozaki for the ROH Title, Aries and Danielson vs. Jacobs and Black, Strong vs. Erick Stevens, and Steen and El Generico vs. Ruckus and Jawsaw as the advertised matches.
-Dot Net reader Mike Brasco wrote the following regarding the Terri Runnels house and $100,000 "giveaway" contest: "You forgot to mention the most important part of Terris scam and its that 5,000 people must enter the contest. So $200 x 5,000 equals $1 million for Terri. Thats right $1 million for reading letters on how people would make the word a better place LOL..what a load of garbage... This is just a scam for Terri to get free money, lots of it."
-WWE's Ashley Massaro provided an update on her status in a Myspace Blog posted earlier this week. She wrote that she had "family stuff" going on, but said she would be "back on WWE TV quicker than you can say, 'When is Ashley coming back on WWE TV.'" To read the rest of her blog, click here.
-The following matches are listed for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Wahoo McDaniel squash, Badd Company Squash, Rocky Mountain Thunder squash, Curt Hennig squash, Teijo Khan and Soldat Ustinov vs. The Top Guns (Ricky Rice and John Paul). The show was taped on July 12, 1988
