-TNA Impact is advertising the following lineup for tonight's Impact on Spike TV: Chris Sabin vs. Curry Man vs. Kaz vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Johnny Devine in a King of the Mountain match with the winner receiving a TNA Title match next week, A.J. Styles vs. Tomko, Velvet Sky vs. ODB. The non-wrestling events include Black Machismo's bachelor party, and Kurt and Karen Angle squaring off in a point/counterpoint interview.
-WWE Raw drew a 3.1 rating on Monday, which is up from the 2.9 the show drew on Memorial Day the week before. Company officials must be disappointed that the rating wasn't bigger following all million dollar giveaway hype.
-Jim Ross reported in his JRsBarBQ.com blog yesterday that Randy Orton is expected to miss up to four months with a broken collarbone. As I reported on the Dot Net Podcast yesterday, Orton suffered a clean break, and I also heard the four-month timeline.
-Ross also reported that Candice Michelle was backstage visiting friend at Raw. "She told me she would be going back to the doctor to have her collarbone (clavicle) checked in two weeks," Ross wrote. "I am not sure when she will be able to return to wrestling but one would assume in a month or so."
-Jeremy Borash was featured in a Slam Wrestling story on Tuesday regarding TNA's early days and it's survival. "I just watched the DVD," Borash said. "After watching it, I thought it was fairly accurate in its description of (the genesis of TNA). But the emotion of what it was like for us back then was very hard to capture." You can check out the full interview at SlamWrestling.com.
-Al Snow is scheduled to appear at the Power and Glory wrestling show on June 21 in Bridgeport, Conn. at the Cardinal Shehan Center. For more information, visit PowerAndGloryWrestling.com.
-The following matches are listed for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Wahoo McDaniel squash, Badd Company squash, Rocky Mountain Thunder squash, Curt Hennig vs. Dewey Robertson, Ricky Rice and John Paul vs. Teijo Khan and Soldat Ustinov. The show was taped on July 12, 1988.
